Hello Fellow Roblans and Friends of Pioneer Museum,

Thank you to all of you who came and supported us at the 2010 Pioneer Pearls Event.  Keep your eye on this site for updates about next year's event!

Welcome to an evening not to be missed at Centennial Park’s Ballroom!

Before you read even one more sentence, grab your calendar and big bold marking pen. Now circle Saturday, April 24th from 5:30 to 10:30.

Pioneer Pearls--A Gala Evening for the Pioneer Museum--is having this first-ever, really true fundraiser.  Oh man oh man, this is gonna be great! Pioneer Museum is hosting a dress-up event ---black tie optional--and everything possible is being done to make it first-class for your enjoyment!

Arriving guests will be treated to champagne cocktails as they enter pool-side and under the arch. While perusing the over 60 silent auction items and multiple live auction items on display, there are 4 hosted bars (we pay--not you!) of local wine, beer and softer drinks to compliment the delicious trayed appetizers. RIO, a barbershop group, will be strolling and singing prior to dinner.

Two Cooks Catering is preparing the sit-down dinner served to your table of 8. Rotta Winery has provided the evening's wine with Mitchella white wines at the tables. The prime cut of Prime Rib with all the best and freshest of local vegetables, salads and sides plus artisan breads comprises the main menu. Panko encrusted eggplant is the vegetarian option. Save room for the Culinary Academy’s Flourless Decadence Chocolate Cake drizzled with raspberry sauce as the dessert---along with Rotta dessert wine!

City Councilman, Ed Steinbeck, is the MC and Supervisor, Frank Mecham, is the auctioneer for the live auction portion.  For both auctions, the items are over-the-top “Gotta Have’s” and the list is guaranteed to dazzle!

A new shotgun and varmint rifle will be given to lucky winners from ticket drawings!

The evening will conclude with Funk 30 playing and dancing is highly encouraged!

Tables of 8 are $625;  individual seats are $85 each. Seating is limited to 160 and is selling out very quickly! Order here (available shortly) or send a check to Pioneer Pearls, 2010 Riverside Ave., Paso Robles, 93446.

Donations and sponsors are gladly accepted and appreciated. Sponsors will receive all the publicity we can provide and various sponsorship levels include a table for 8. Net proceeds will be split evenly to support ongoing displays and to establish an endowment fund for a new building to showcase the overflowing abundance of local memorabilia.
